Students survive Camp Disaster
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) — Rising ninth and tenth graders were introduced to allied-health careers during Camp Disaster, a four-day, hands-on camp held recently at Southeastern Community College.
According to a news release from SCC, the camp provided interactive lessons in medical laboratory technology, pharmacy, nursing, CPR and first-aid training. The campers reportedly toured the college’s health facilities, as well as Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
