UNCW students donate time, money to help organization
LAKE WACCAMAW, NC (WECT) - Some UNCW students spent Saturday giving a lasting gift to the Boys and Girls Homes and Family Services at Lake Waccamaw.
Students from the School of Nursing usually leave a class gift, but this year's class decided to use that money to help out someone else.
They collected nearly $13,000 and installed a patio where the boys and girls of the organization can relax and have fun.
