STUDY: Columbus Co. residents mention church more than beer on Twitter | Arts & Culture

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A study conducted by floatingsheep.org found that Columbus County residents tweet more about church than they do about beer.

The study kept track of tweets from June 22-28 that included the words “church” or “beer.” Nationwide, there were more “church” tweets (17,686) than “beer tweets (14,405). However, Twitter users in the northeast portion of the country were most likely to talk about beer.
