Lowry named NCBCA player of the year | Baseball

LELAND, NC (WECT) - North Brunswick High School's Matt Lowry was named the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association Class 2A Player of the Year.

This past season, the right-handed pitcher struck out 48 batters over 29 innings of work while walking just nine. The North Carolina signee also had a 14-game hit streak, five home runs and 36 RBI.
