Acme-Delco Elementary to host meeting for Hwy. 87 improvements | Business

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A public meeting has been planned to discuss proposed improvements to 30 miles of N.C. Hwy. 87 from U.S. 74/76 in Columbus County to the Elizabethtown Bypass in Bladen County.

The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9 at Acme-Delco Elementary School, located at 16337 Old Lake Road in Riegelwood.

An open house will be held before the meeting from 4 until 6:30 p.m. to allow NCDOT representatives to answer questions and receive comments about the proposed project, according to a news release.
