Partnership: SCC students can now earn degrees from Wesleyan | Business

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The presidents of Southeastern Community College and North Carolina Wesleyan College agreed to a partnership that would allow SCC students to earn a degree from Wesleyan, according to SCC spokesperson Justin Smith.

A memorandum of understanding was signed Monday afternoon that outlined a partnership between the two schools. Courses will be offered at SCC’s campus and online to allow students to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wesleyan, Smith said.

Also, Wesleyan will begin accepting SCC graduates who are at least 22 years old with a GPA of 2.0. The two schools agreed that tuition at Wesleyan will not exceed the state system’s cost of attendance, and Wesleyan advisors will be located on the SCC campus to help students and to recruit.
