Congressman McIntyre to attend Columbus Co. ribbon cutting | Business

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A ribbon cutting and grand opening will be held next week for the new building that the Columbus County Department of Aging and Adult Services will be housed in, according to a letter from a Columbus County official.

The ribbing cutting will be held next Thursday at 10:30 a.m., and Congressman Mike McIntyre will be at the event. McIntyre helped secure $450,000 towards the department.

The Department of Aging is located at 827 Washington Street in Whiteville.
