COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Southeastern Community College’s Workforce and Community Development Division will offer a continuing education class and several seminars in the coming weeks. To pre-register or for more information, call (910) 642-7141, ext. 296, 397 or 425.
Financial assistance with registration fees and books to gain new employment-related skills may be available through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and other funding sources.

Web Design for the Beginner
Web Design for the Beginner will be held on Mondays, Jan. 28-March 11, 6-9 p.m., in T-Building, room 126. Want to set up a website for your business or organization, but have no idea how? This basic guide explains everything, and shows you exactly how to create a website of your own, from gathering your information to creating your online site. The course fee is $65. Financial assistance may be available through NC Tobacco Trust Fund Commission.
Survival Skills for the Small Business Owner
Survival Skills for the Small Business Owner will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1-4 p.m., in T-Building, room 122. If you aren’t delegating and coaching, you’re not leading. These are two of the most difficult leadership skills to develop. This session will help you with those areas as well as listening to your employees and holding effective meetings.
