Lake Waccamaw prepares for annual Halloween carnival
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Town of Lake Waccamaw is preparing for its annual Halloween carnival.
Police officers and employees with the Parks and Recreation Department worked together Tuesday to build a haunted house and set up more than 40 games for the event.
Police Chief Scott Hyatt said this event is a way to make sure kids can have an affordable and safe Halloween.
The event kicks off on Halloween night at 6:00 and is free to the public.
