Teacher bonuses approved in Whiteville
WHITEVILLE, NC (WECT) – Teachers in Whiteville will receive a bonus once again at the end of the school year.
Monday night, Whiteville School Board members voted to give teachers a 5 percent pay supplement and support staff a 2.5 percent supplement.
Superintendent Thom Hagar said that it’s something Board members have approved over the past couple of years.
