Health fair travels to make it easier for veterans | Community Spirit

WHITEVILLE, NC (WECT) – Representatives of the Fayetteville VA Medical Center are making it a little easier for veterans in the Whiteville area to get health benefits.

The health team will be in the area August 15 so veterans in the area can enroll in the VA health care system, receive health information, and find out about various services available to them through the Veterans Health Administration.

Anyone who served in the US military is invited to attend the event Wednesday, August 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post 233 on West Phillip Street. Veterans are encouraged to bring a copy of their DD From 214 and last year’s financial information to expedite enrollment in the system.
