East Columbus falls short of Red Springs
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – East Columbus hosted Red Springs Friday night. Both teams entered the night without a loss in Three-Rivers play.
The Red Springs Red Devils were on top 19-8 in the second half, but the Gators chomped back to score a touchdown, closing the lead 19-16.
Unfortunately for East Columbus, no other scoring plays were made in the game. They fell short to the Red Devils by three.
Friday, East Columbus will host ST. Pauls in their final home game of the regular season.
