Sen. Hagan continues 'Conversations with Kay' tour
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Senator Kay Hagan was in Whiteville Tuesday morning, to meet with constituents.
Hagan held a “Conversations with Kay” event at Southeastern Community College from 11:30-12:30 p.m.
Officials from Columbus County were at the event and asked Hagan about the future of the railroad system in the area.
Hagan also spoke with people about fracking and healthcare for seniors.
After her event in Whiteville, Hagan held a similar even in Elizabethtown as part of her 100-county “Conversations with Kay” tour. Bladen County made her 77th county of the tour.
The senator plans to visit all 100 counties in North Carolina by the end of the year.
