Peggy Blackmon honored for Service to SCC | Community Spirit

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Peggy Blackmon, Southeastern Community College Dean of Allied Health, Business and Technology, was honored at a recent reception for her more than 30 years of service to the college.

Blackmon, pictured above to the left, who will retire at the end of January, received an engraved glass pyramid from SCC President Kathy Matlock, right.

The Peggy Yoder Blackmon Nursing Scholarship, established by her family, will ensure that her legacy remains strong at Southeastern by providing much needed support to deserving nursing students.
