SCC pins nursing Grads | Community Spirit

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Southeastern Community College Practical Nursing Class of 2012 recently held its pinning ceremony in the College’s auditorium.

Al West, director of nursing, pinned the graduates and Penny Horne, nursing instructor, presented each student with a Florence Nightingale lamp.

The class officers were Morgan Latta, president; Heather Lisk, vice-president; Brooke Mitchell, secretary; Jennifer Gore, treasurer; Viki Nobles, historian; and Billie Jo Brooks, chaplain. Instructor Deana Elkins presented the Student Government Award to Jennifer Gore, who earned the highest grade point average. Nursing Instructor Kimberly Fine was the speaker for the event.
