Nominations sought for Columbus County Outstanding Volunteer Service Award | Community Spirit

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Volunteer Columbus! is soliciting nominations for the annual Columbus County Outstanding Volunteer Service Award.

Any individual, group, or organization in Columbus County whose volunteer activities benefit the community in a substantial, important or unique way is eligible.

Students receiving course credits are eligible if their volunteer service extends beyond course requirements.

“I encourage organizations to honor and celebrate their volunteers by nominating them for this prestigious award,” said Dr. Melody Prevatte, director of Columbus County RSVP. “Volunteers make an invaluable contribution to our community, and they deserve recognition for their important service.”
