Free ice cream on Saturday at the opening day for Columbus County Community Farmers Market
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The opening ceremony will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. for the Columbus County Community Farmers Market, located at 132 Government Complex Road in Whiteville.
In celebration, free homemade ice cream will be available!
The Columbus County market is one of only seven farmers' markets in North Carolina chosen to participate in a 2011 state level nutrition program integration project.
Regular hours for the market are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7 a.m. until noon.
