Investigation: Driver hit biker and kept going
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Officers with Columbus County Highway Patrol are investigating a hit and run that happened Thursday morning.
According to troopers, the incident happened off Silver Spoon Road which is outside of Whiteville.
Friends say Suejete Brown was riding her bike for exercise when a vehicle hit her and the driver kept going.
According to friends, Brown suffered a few broken bones.
