COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Tuesday, students in the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program at Southeastern Community College participated in a simulation on campus.
Students practiced getting a crowd under control during a riot, and the crowd consisted of students who pretended to be animal right protesters.
Instructors say that next month, students will participate in hands-on exercises that focus on traffic stops and patrolling.
