Whiteville boil water advisory lifted | Food

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Whiteville was under a boil water advisory from Friday afternoon until 10 a.m. Sunday, according to officials with Columbus County dispatch.<?xml:namespace prefix = o />

Water testing for contamination came back positive, so the advisory was in place as a precaution.

Residents were advised to boil all water before being used for consumption.
