BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A group of five teens from Brunswick and Columbus counties have been found.
Matthew Brett Miles and Katlin Marie Tennant, both 14 and from Leland, along with Columbus County teens Krista Smith, 15, Amber Yurgel, 14, and Katlynn Taggett, 13, were missing earlier and have since been found, according to Del Routh with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
Tennant reportedly took her parents’ olive green 2008 Volvo with a RWP-9142 North Carolina registration on Monday. A Facebook message stated that they the group was going to take a joy ride to Tennessee.
The group was found in Tennessee.
