Assistant D.A. Fred Gore back in Col. Co. after serving as JAG officer | News
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Fred Gore, an Assistant District Attorney in Columbus County, has been back on the job for two weeks after being deployed for a year to serve as a JAG officer in the National Guard.
Now that's he's back, he is living in Columbus County and plans to be more involved in the community.
Gore says he wants to show kids in the community that prosecutors are the good guys.
Gore is a single father of 4-year-old twin boys.
He says his sons were two when he left, and now, they're talking in complete sentences and are potty-trained.
