Commissioners vote to dissolve Columbus Co. DSS board | News
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Commissioners in Columbus County voted unanimously Tuesday night to dissolve the county's DSS board.
Commissioner Chairman Amon McKenzie said in November the role of the board had changed. Having once served on the board, McKenzie said he never understood its purpose.
Algernon McKenzie, a distant relative to the commissioner chairman, was named the board's director in April 2012.
