COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) - According to Harry Warren with
the North Carolina Museum of Forestry in Whiteville, changes are coming.
Warren tells us in the next couple of months they'll be
redoing the landscape, which will be an outdoor classroom; they're adding a
gift shop and more tree displays.
Warren says the museum, which has been open for almost a
year after a million dollar construction project, is getting back to its roots.
Donations and fundraisers will pay for the changes. They've
already added new displays in the museum.
