Photo Gallery | Pledges needed, dogs available to be rescued from shelter
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – As of the time of this posting, the following dogs pictured are in need of either a home or pledges, according to Friends of Columbus County, NC Animals.
If you are interested making pledges, click here to learn more information. If you’re interested in adopting one of the dogs, the following steps are necessary:
- Send an email with your name, address and vet reference to savingcolumbuscountyanimals@gmail.com
- PayPal the pull fee and kennel number to Juliezdogs@gmail.com
- Call South Robeson vet at 910-628-7178 if you cannot pick up the animal yourself
- Arrange for professional transport to you
The dogs are currently located at the Columbus County Animal Shelter, located at 288 Legion Drive in Whiteville.

Its hours are Monday -Thursday, 10:30 a.m - 5 p.m, and Friday, noon - 5 p.m.
